Due to an issue in Chrome 74 on Windows, browser tests using XLT’s client-performance WebDriver for Chrome (or any other test that loads a WebExtension which requires
webRequest API permissions), might hang during browser startup.
Users of other Chrome/Chromium versions or users of a different OS such as Linux or Mac are not affected.
The issue is expected to be fixed in Chrome 75. In the meantime, one of the following workarounds might help:
xlt.webDriver.chrome_clientperformance.browserArgs = --disable-features=NetworkService xlt.webDriver.chrome_clientperformance.browserArgs = --enable-features=NetworkServiceInProcess
